Two MC4 connectors with blocking diode

This component is an essential accessory for  blocking reverse currents  that could occur in photovoltaic systems consisting of several strings of photovoltaic panels connected in parallel to each other. 

The phenomenon of reverse current occurs when a string of a photovoltaic system has a lower voltage than the voltage of the other strings of panels placed in parallel with each other, thus creating an imbalance of currents.

Reverse current between panels connected in parallel can occur when the panels have  different power ratings  or in the case of  clear partial shading  of a part of the system.

Reverse current, in the worst case scenario, could cause damage to the remaining modules in the string and for this reason, by using connectors with blocking diodes, both the string and the entire system are protected.

Thanks to the MC4 connectors with blocking diodes, it is possible to make quick and safe connections without the need for special equipment.
